AES Discord Tool

This is A lightweight, local Chrome extension that injects client-side AES cryptography directly into Discord's web interface.

It intercepts outgoing messages via the network stack, encrypts them using WebCrypto, and decrypts incoming messages in the DOM for anyone holding the correct key.

Features

  • Encryption: Uses native WebCrypto (AES-GCM, AES-CBC, AES-CTR) with PBKDF2 key derivation.
  • Hooks: Automatically hooks into the network stack to encrypt messages before they ever touch Discord's servers.
  • Manager: A minimal, isolated notes app within the popup to store and manage your cryptographic keys.
  • No Dependencies: 100% vanilla JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. No external libraries or trackers.

Installation

  1. Go to chrome://extensions/
  2. Enable Developer mode in the top right.
  3. Click Load unpacked and select the app folder.

Usage

  1. Open the extension popup while on Discord.
  2. Enter a master password (or add one to the Manager).
  3. Toggle "encrypt outgoing messages" and "decrypt incoming messages".
  4. Anyone else running the extension with the same password will see your messages decrypted on their screen.
